Subject: libzip-1.5.0 released
Date: Mon, 12 Mar 2018 09:53:21 +0100

Hi!

We've released libzip-1.5.0 yesterday.

The changes are:

* Use standard cryptographic library instead of custom AES implementation.
  This also simplifies the license.
* Use `clang-format` to format the source code.
* More Windows improvements.

On the first point: We would like to also support the Windows native
crypto libraries. Volunteers for writing the compatibility layer would
be welcome. It should be doable in about an hour. zip_random() has
also been moved to the crypto backends, since most libraries implement
it. The Windows versions were removed from the build, but the files
are still there for reference.

Cheers,
 Thomas
